Installation

Comment Cruncher is very easy to install:

1. Just download the zip file (cc.php.zip) and put it into the directory you want to run it from.

2. Unzip the file.

When Comment Cruncher is unzipped, a single file will appear: cc.php.

Simply access this file with your web browser, follow the usage instructions, and you're ready to go.

Unzipping on *NIX

To unzip Comment Cruncher on a *NIX system, use a command like this:

unzip cc.php.zip

Make sure to set file permissions so your webserver can access the file.

Unzipping on Windows

To unzip Comment Cruncher on a Windows system, you can normally use the built-in unzip capability that ships with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

If your operating system does not have built-in unzip capability, you should check out jZip:

When your file is unzipped, make sure to set file permissions so your webserver can access the file.
